1. right click on the network icon in your notification area on your taskbar

2. click on Open Network and Sharing Center

3. click on Change adapter settings

4. right click on your wired or wireless adaptor icon(ex. Local Area Connection)

5. click on Properties

6. click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)

7.click on Properties

8. make sure you have checked  Use the following IP address

9. change your IP address

10. close the window
